Student Life
The campus is located in downtown Racine, Wisconsin, only blocks away from the beautiful harbor of Lake Michigan. Racine is located in the center of the United States and it is a very typical America city; an ideal location to study and practice English. It is situated along Lake Michigan which has clean water and beautiful sandy beaches. There is also a big harbor with many pleasure boats. There is great shopping downtown with many specialty shops to buy unique gifts, clothes, and jewelry. Racine is also home to a large, diverse zoo.
There are many festivals and concerts which take place year round as well as outdoor activities. In the summer time there are plenty of water activities and special events such as Salmon-a-Rama, a fishing contest; and the Great Midwest Dragon Boat Race. In the winter, people enjoy sledding, skiing, and ice-fishing.
Because of the convenient location in Racine, the students can walk to many shops and restaurants. It is also a safe city. If the students want to experience what a big city has to offer, Milwaukee, a lively manufacturing city, is only 30 minutes away, and Chicago, the 3rd largest city in the U.S., is only about an hour away. Racine is a great place to experience the real U.S. lifestyle.
